Our goal is to help businesses improve efficiency, reduce risk, and achieve better results.  We build great software but also recognize that the critical IT component is simply the means to an end.  The first step is applying substantial experience in the back office to develop a thorough understanding of the particular needs, wants, and desires of the business unit.  From there we find a way to fulfill them with a durable, economically viable solution that can adapt to everchanging issues.

Custom Software Solutions
The crux of most productivity and oversight improvement initiatives is smart software.  We build high-powered, fully customized applications tailored to the specific needs of the project.  Years of experience, millions of lines of code under our belt, a keen understanding of business concerns, and a strong ability to articulate individual needs help balance demands for performance, simplicity, expandability, and cost-effectiveness.  The result is truly helpful tools that improve the bottom line.

Data Management, Maintenance, and Exploitation
At the heart of smart software is valuable data and most of our products revolve around the need to maintain and make use of it. Core principals include insuring the integrity of what is being stored, providing intuitive, user-friendly maintenance tools, producing insightful management reports, and automating the daily workflow.

Process Engineering
Long before the wireframes, decision tables, and sore wrists it is imperative to ask, "why?"  With few exceptions, the process can be improved prior to making the computers do the work. Our belief is that while any particular step might only consume a few minutes or even seconds of an individual's day, over the course of a year it amounts to a substantial amount of work.  As a general rule of thumb, we believe it is best to eliminate a step rather than automate it.  This further increases efficiency and decreases operational risk.

Firecalls
Once in a while, despite all the best efforts, things go awry - hostile employees walk away from responsibility, rogue software takes root, human errors happen, the list goes on and on. When these issues occur, there isn't always an available resource to clean up the mess. Plain and simple, we get in, solve the problem, and get out. Data repairs, software restoration, and product documentation are just some of the actions we take to mitigate risk and restore order.

Project Management
There are frequently many stakeholders for any given initiative. These include operational managers and users, internal IT managers and staff developers, creative contributors, internal and external compliance auditors and regulators, 3rd-party vendors and unaffiliated consultants and contractors.  We understand that everyone's concerns are important and participation must be effectively coordinated to keep progress on schedule and on budget.  Detailed planning, accurate forecasting, effective resource management, and reliable follow-through ensure projects are completed properly and reliably within time and expense parameters.
